Since 1983, more than 25 million feet of Elko® GuttaGard™ has been installed on more than 250,000 homes across North America. Some families have used GuttaGard™ for generations now, and GuttaGard™ continues to perform . . . at a fraction of the price of other gutter protection systems.
Most solid panel gutter protection products are based on the principle of surface tension. The basic concept of surface tension is that water will follow a curved edge into the gutter, while debris washes over the side to the ground, eliminating the need to frequently clean your gutters.
Elko® GuttaGard™ is simple to install. In fact, with our patented locking clip, GuttaGard™ is so easy to install, you can do it with a butter knife! Using a flat edge tool and a pair of heavy scissors or tin snips, an average home can be completed in one or two hours. Elko® GuttaGard™ works on all types of roofs, including asphalt, wood shake, slate and metal, and it works equally well on steep and shallow roofs.
Contractor packaging is in 100' boxes (25 ea. 4' panels with a bag of 60 clips). We ship quantities ranging from 12' (3 panels with clips) to 10,000 feet (100 contractor boxes) within minutes after receiving your order.
Gutter Genius® DIY™ is our new retail version of Elko® GuttaGard™. Launched in 2007, Gutter Genius® DIY™ is sold through hardware stores and home centers in four color retail boxes containing 12' of product (3 ea. 4' panels with 7 clips). Each box includes illustrated directions for easy installation.
Elko® GuttaGard™ (and Gutter Genius® DIY™) has a 15 year limited product warranty from Elko (see warranty page) that guarantees the quality and workmanship of your gutter protection system.
