Gutter Genius® DIY™
In 2007, Elko launched Gutter Genius® DIY™, a retail version of Elko® GuttaGard™. It's so simple to install, you can literally do your home in a few hours . . . with a butter knife! Gutter Genius® DIY™ installs quickly and easily and outperforms most of the expensive systems . . . at a fraction of the price.
Most solid panel gutter protection products are based on the principle of surface tension. The basic concept of surface tension is that water will follow a curved edge into the gutter, while debris washes over the side to the ground, eliminating the need to frequently clean your gutters.
Gutter Genius® DIY™ works on all types of roofs, including asphalt, wood shake, slate and metal, and it works equally well on steep and shallow roofs. The patented locking clip is the key to Gutter Genius® DIY™. It snaps in place on the guard, and pulls easily onto the lip of your existing gutter. Then, with a quick twist, it locks securely to your gutter to provide permanent protection for many years to come. It fits both metal and plastic gutters too!
Most Gutter Genius® DIY™ is sold through home centers, hardware stores and lumber yards in our attractive, four-color display box. Each box includes colorful illustrated instructions, along with 12' of gutter covers (3 ea. 4' panels) and a package of 7 clips (two per panel, plus one extra clip). We can also ship direct in any quantity in Elko-designed UPS approved catalog boxes.
Gutter Genius® DIY™ has a 15 year limited product warranty from Elko (see warranty page) that guarantees the quality and workmanship of your gutter protection system.
